So.... What Have We Been Up To??

It's been a busy few weeks since out last post!!

The big one for us was the Partial Eclipse on March 20th.
Not only was this the first eclipse I've photographed, but it was great to view from the hill top over-looking Mumbles Lighthouse.
We took lots of photos as you can imagine, but this is our favourite:

There was a period when the eclipse was at it's highest coverage which made the sun look like it was smiling... so it was only right to have a bit of fun with the shot:

The following night (21st) was also a great night with the camera as the moon was starting it's cycle and created a lovely, thin crescent as well as some nice stars:

We've also been working with some new corporate clients (a loft conversion company) to capture photos for their new website and sales brochure:

We also covered the FunkyPump Guerrilla Fitness Challenge in aid of the Freya Bevan charity. A great laugh and a superb effort from everyone who took part and dressed up to raise money for such a worthwhile cause:

We covered the Swansea University Management School's event at the Liberty Stadium:

As well as capture a team photo (in the rain!!) for a local IFAs, Watermark Financial Planning LTD:

Finally, we covered the Swansea Bay Business Club event at Village Hotel with guest speaker Dale Williams of Yolk Recruitment:

As always, landscape images are available as prints, framed or canvas mounts and if you require a photographer for your business / event, get in touch!

Symonds Yat, Stars and Castles

A lovely weekend break with the family but also a chance to take photos of new places.

It's been over 30 years since I've been to Symonds Yat but I always remembered the river and the gorge itself but forgot about the beautiful views from Symonds Yat Rock.  A truly lovely part of the world!!

We stayed in the Forest of Dean which and were very lucky to have clear nights and as there is very light pollution, the stars we could see were fantastic. Solid tripod, 16mm lens @ f2.8, iso around 1000 and shutter speed around 7 seconds gave some lovely night time shots:

On the way home we popped in to Raglan Castle, one of my favourite Welsh castles and as we were the only visitors there for most of our time, we pretty much had it to ourselves!!

All photos are available as prints, canvas or framed images - contact us to find out more details.

Swansea Business Leaders, St David and a Welsh AM...

It's been a busy few days!

Friday saw us covering the Swansea Bay Business Club St Davids Day lunch at the Marriott Hotel.
Great stand-up routine from the 'guest speaker' Rod Woodward!!

Saturday was the Get Welsh event in Swansea City Centre organised by Swansea BID and Swansea City Centre Management. Great event, well attended and the weather held!

Yesterday we were photographing Fitness Model Sophie Jordanna-Davies to track her progress for the up-coming Miami Pro event - more photos to follow as that project is under wraps for now!

Finally, we've just finished photographing at Swansea University to capture the opening of their Mass Spectrometry Facility which was officiated over by Edwina Hart AM.

If you have any events coming up that require a photographer, contact us.
